Weekends

 

 Weekends offer further opportunities for students to practice the lessons and skills they have learned during the week, as well as to explore the historical, cultural and ecological richness of Maine. Students and teachers engage in Friday and Saturday field trips that allow students to explore their academic interests in greater depth. Led by faculty members in each subect, these learning adventures enrich students' understanding of a subject through experiential learning while deepening their sense of place in the vivid Maine landscape.  Sundays are a "Res Life" day at the farmhouse, during which students rest, reflect, play and study to prepare for the week ahead.
