Community Expectations

CSG maintains the following rules for all members of the CSG community, including staff, students and guests:
• Possession or use of illegal drugs, alcohol or weapons is not allowed on campus and will result in automatic dismissal from CSG.
• Fighting, stealing, cheating, harassment, destruction of property, use of tobacco, and leaving campus without permission (students) are not permitted and are potential grounds fordismissal from the school.
• Each semester, students and staff will meet as a group to create a Community Living Agreement that defines the group’s standards for trust, honesty, respect, freedom and responsibility, and personal property and space. This Agreement will be used to guide personal behavior and group interaction, as well as to help resolve conflicts that may arise.
• Students who struggle to meet Community Expectations or who fail to maintain adequate academic progress or proficiency may be placed on probation, a trial period involving discussion and a probationary contract with the student, faculty and parents, which will determine whether they may remain enrolled in the CSG semester.
