Rolling Admissions Policy
Students apply in the spring of their freshman year in order to attend CSG during the Fall or Spring Term of their sophomore year of high school. To ensure consideration for admission, all application materials must be received in our office by our priority application deadline, March 15. After this date, we will continue to accept applications and admit students on a rolling basis if space is available.
How to Apply
Fill in our electronic Student Application, print and mail all materials to our office.
Admissions and Enrollment Process
PHASE ONE: ACCPTANCE BASED ON MERIT:
Applications are reviewed by our Admissions Committee and students are approved for admission based on MERIT. This means that we have evaluated the student's essay, references and academic record, and we feel confident that she will fit well and be successful within the Coastal Studies for Girls community. Students may also be invited to interview in person, on the phone, or through a Skype video-call. Please enclose a $20 application fee via check made out to Coastal Studies for Girls with your completed application (application itself, essay responses, 3 letters of recommendation and transcript). Once students are approved for admission, families will receive an acceptance letter congratulating them on passing Phase One.
PHASE TWO: SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION:
Families who are applying for a scholarship submit their financial aid forms online. Please see our Scholarships page for instructions. Families must complete the Scholarship Application before we can move on to Phase Three. Families who are not applying for aid can skip directly to Phase Three.
PHASE THREE: ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT AND COMPLETED HEALTH FORM AND MEDICAL HISTORY:
Families then receive our Enrollment Agreement, which contains the tuition amount for which the family is responsible, along with the scholarship amount we are able to award, if any. This agreement also contains information on tuition payment plans, deadlines, our cancellation policy and community guidelines. Families will also receive a health and medical history form which MUST be completed and mailed along with the signed Enrollment Agreement and tuition deposit. Please be aware that Your final acceptance and enrollment is contingent upon our review of ALL student paperwork and forms, including the medical form. If for some reason we are unable to accommodate you because of medical concerns, we will issue a refund of your deposit.
Once your tuition deposit has been received and your Enrollment Agreement and Health/Medical history have been received, reviewed and approved by CSG staff, you are officially enrolled! You will receive a final email confirmation from us at this point.
